Bastrop County Youth Summit: Adulting 101

Elevate Youth had the opportunity to present the Adulting 101 session at the Bastrop Youth Summit on during October. 🎉 A big thank you to HEAL Alliance for hosting such an impactful event and creating space for youth to learn essential life skills. ♥️ Huge shout out to Monique Grant of Bee-Unique for collaborating with us to bring an engaging and meaningful presentation to the students. Together, we're empowering the next generation.

Academic Success Workshop

On Saturday, November 15th, our Academic Success Workshop brought together motivated high school students for a transformative experience in organization and time management. Our team worked one-on-one with each participant, recognizing that effective organizational strategies must be personalized to fit individual learning styles and lifestyles. Students discovered customized systems, learned game-changing techniques to conquer deadlines, and received free materials to support their success throughout the year. The surprise gift cards added an extra spark to an already energizing event, and every attendee left equipped with practical tools tailored specifically to their needs.

Wrapped in Wellness: A Holiday Mental Health Event

On Saturday December 13th, we had the privilege of collaborating with Pink Love Houston at the Kerr Community Center for an event that was equal parts holiday cheer and heartfelt connection. Watching young people come together to decorate cookies, create Hershey Kiss Christmas trees, and open up about mental wellness reminded us why this work matters so much. The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and some really meaningful conversations. To everyone who joined us: thank you for showing up, for being vulnerable, and for building community with us. You took home decorated cookies and handmade trees, but you also left with connections that matter. To our amazing partners at Pink Love Houston: thank you for helping us create a space where stigma breaks down and support builds up.

Level Up: Resume Workshop

Originally scheduled for February 28th, the Elevate Youth free workshop was rescheduled to Saturday, March 7th, 2026 due to unforeseen circumstances. The event was held at the Bastrop Public Library and was designed to help young people prepare for life after high school whether heading to college, trade school, or entering the workforce. Attendees had the opportunity to receive a professional headshot, build a resume, and sharpen their interview skills with real feedback, all at no cost to them.
